Driving School – Learn To Get the Help

Every year, there are a lot of people would want to learn about driving. Therefore, you can find that the demand for the driving school all over the world is high from year to year. As more and more people would like to have cars for their transport and the price of car is reducing, you can find that many teenagers would like to learn about driving.

You would find that there are a lot of reliable driving schools that you can get help from. Some of the schools are very good and you can get help from these schools regarding the driving lessons.

One of the famous options that people would choose would be the Professional Driving School in Queensland.

All the driving schools mentioned above are equipped with the professional teachers to help you learn driving. You would usually be able to learn about it in a short period of time and then pass the necessary examinations. If you are not successful in passing the examination, you would also get the Online appointment scheduling from the driving schools and you can have the additional lessons at a discount such that you can reduce the burden for retaking the examination.

Whenever you try to find the help from the driving school, you would need to learn about the tips for you to narrow down the options. For example, you should try to see the plans that are available first. Some of the driving schools might not provide the plans that you want.

For example, you might find that the learning time might not be so flexible in some of the schools and some other schools might not provide sufficient hours of lectures and practical lessons for you. If you have these needs like the needs of having additional lectures, you might try to search for the suitable plans which can realize these needs for you.

Many people would like to compare the price of the plans whenever they look for the driving school. But this might not be the most important point. No doubt, it is worthwhile if you spend the time to look for the relevant information about the prices. However, the quality of the teaching courses shall be of utmost importance. If you do not try to search for the courses which are of quality, you would actually waste the time.

Therefore, you should try to look for the passing rates of the schools. You might find that they would claim to be 100% pass in examinations but you should better search in some forums about the real performance of these schools. You might find that there are some types of additional information that you can get from the Online appointment scheduling rather than the official websites.

In conclusion, you should try to get help from the driving school if you really want to learn about driving because many of them are professional.

The learner driver industry is hitting the road with digital transformation!

Recently I had the opportunity to present at the ADTA Annual Driver Trainers conference in Sydney on “placing your business in the digital era”. Being privileged to represent Queensland as an Advance Queensland Digital Champion, this was a great opportunity to create more awareness of  “going digital” to solo driving instructors and driving schools.   It comes down to a change in mindset about how we do business.  Gone are the days of pen and paper and ticking boxes.  The digital era is here.  Learner drivers who have been born with technology expect the ‘customer experience’ they are used to in every other facet of their lives when they book driving lessons.

A perfect example of digital solutions, which I mentioned to driver trainers at the conference, is the new innovative e-learning program, PrepL.  Developed in collaboration with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads by Croomo (a pioneering technology company, Brisbane based).

The new program, PrepL, is intended to replace the current 30-question paper-based written test for a class C learner licence. By focusing on developing safe behaviours and attitudes, it will ensure new drivers know the road rules and understand the impact of the Fatal Five.

You’ll be able to access PrepL at any time, on a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer. You will be able to complete the program at your own pace, and you will not have to come into a Department of Transport and Main Roads customer service centre to do the test or pay to re-sit the test if you fail.

PrepL is currently in pilot phase, being tested by 300 students in 6 schools across Queensland. The PrepL pilot will run from September to December and will aim to be available to all Queenslanders in early 2018.

“The Queensland Government is putting itself at the forefront of road safety in Australia and the world,” Mr Bermingham, Croom Chief Growth Officer said.

“Last year, 250 people died on Queensland roads alone, so I believe that PrepL has the potential to save many lives in the future.

“Students don’t just learn the road rules with PrepL, they learn why it’s important to have the right attitude, and, in a virtual environment, they experience the consequences of poor driving.”

Fatal 5

As a driving instructor, myself, I understand first-hand how important it is that learner drivers have a good attitude when learning to drive and understand the consequences associated with driving.  The PrepL e-learning programme will play an important role in preparing learners.  We, as driving instructors have a role to teach learner drivers these same attributes on the roads in a practical situation.  I regularly ask my students for feedback and their views are that the shock-tactic graphic campaigns for road safety no longer have an impact.  The timing is ripe for a change in the way that learner drivers approach learning about road rules and road safety.

Summing it up,  RACQ spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said the Club welcomed the move to modernise road safety education.  “Moving away from the old written test and to an interactive online course is a sign of the times and a great initiative,” Ms Ritchie said. (source: RACQ)

As the Founder of YLOO (You Live Only Once), an innovative automated digital end-to-end business platform designed for driving instructors, we welcome the move towards modernisation as well.  YLOO is currently being beta-trialled with driving instructors in Queensland and will be available in early November 2017, with the FREE YLOODrive app being available to learner drivers to book and manage their lessons online 24/7 in real-time.  We see YLOO as revolutionising the driver trainer industry and enabling driving instructors to go fully digital a.k.a online, with very little effort or cost.  My mission is to add real value to a driving instructor’s business life as sometimes their real value in the education and training that they provide to learner drives goes unnoticed.  With the world around us is changing at an unprecedented rate like we’ve never seen before if we as driving instructors don’t make changes in the way we do business, we will get left behind quicker than we think.

YLOO aims to bring about a strong sense of  “partnerships in driving” by keeping parents in the loop throughout the learning process with a driving instructor.  Feedback from parents and students about the benefits of the information flow has been enormously positive.  With the YLOO App being released to learner drivers in November, we believe that YLOO will connect learner drivers with instructors easily through the app.

As with PrepL, we believe that YLOO is also a world first.  YLOO provides a niche digital platform for the driving industry together with allowing easy online bookings and payments for learner drivers.  So pens and paper are out for young Queenslanders!  The opportunity for Driver Trainers is at their fingertips, to say goodbye to manual systems and embrace how technology can add value to their business lives.

If you’d like to see if YLOO is a good fit for your business – I’d welcome your feedback!

Why Choose Brisbane Driving School?

Choosing a driving school is undoubtedly a very important task. We have all heard the stories of unprofessional driving instructors and less than satisfying driving lessons. Previously, I was the owner of the Capital Driving School in Edinburgh. On a daily basis, I heard stories of useless driving lessons where time and money were wasted and confidence was diminished for many learner drivers resulting in them calling us.

It really doesn’t have to be this way!

I am a Driving Standards Agency, Grade ‘A’, approved driving instructor. This means that the Driving Standards Agency has graded my instructional ability to be of a high standard. Only 10% of all driving instructors achieve an ‘A’ Grade. In contrast, many driving instructors teaching today are ‘Trainee Instructors’. This means that they have not been assessed or graded by the DVSA.

Teaching grades are an important indicator of how quickly you will learn to drive. However, character and attitude are equally important.

Your success is my main priority. I want you to have a good experience when learning to drive. You should end your driving lesson feeling satisfied and happy that you have achieved something. My lessons will never involve ‘aimless, driving around’. Every lesson will have a specific and clear objective. Together, we will achieve your objective and move you closer to becoming a safe driver and passing the driving test.

Often, a point of frustration for learner drivers is the driving manoeuvres. Many driving instructors teach these manoeuvres in very convoluted, hard to replicate ways, using bits of tape and markers in windows that need to be lined up. It is very rare that a learner driver will be completely happy with these methods as they are far from easy. Again I assure you that it does not have to be this way. My methods for learning the manoeuvres are simplified and easy to both understand and remember.

I could talk for a long time regarding deficiencies in many driving instructors teaching methods but alas, talk is cheap. If you want to learn to drive in an efficient, safe, and satisfied manner I urge you to contact me today to arrange an initial, trial lesson.

Please note that I am often teaching throughout the day and can’t always answer the telephone. A text message with your name and postcode is appreciated and I will return your call after my lesson.
